The Caballero Family Band History
CABALLERO is a band made up of three brothers, Nando, Eli, Micah and their Dad, Fernando.
The Caballero family was established in 1988 when high school sweethearts, Fernando Caballero and Donna Torres married. Music has always been center stage in the home where Fernando's love for singing and playing guitar planted seeds in his sons. The "Caballero" band officially began playing together in 2003. A blended and up beat style Rock/Country with an occasional Latino Flare can be heard from the band. They have been avid church performers since the beginning and so have very established Contemporary Christian and Praise Worship experience as well.
In addition to their positive original rock/country music, you might hear some of the classics come to life through the Caballero sound.
CABALLERO has performed in several states and countries. Some recent venues played include:
Weld County Fair in Greeley, CO - Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, WY - Rope the Rockies Denver, CO
Greeley Independence Stampede Greeley, CO - Northern Colorado Country Fest
CABALLERO Sound has graced the stages for State-wide Multiethnic Adult and Youth Camps, Church Services, Weddings, Quinceaneras, Conferences, Rodeo Events, Fairs, Benefit Concerts and Worship Services. They have had the opportunity to attend and sing at the Music in the Rockies in Colorado and Galaxy of the Stars in Nebraska. Caballero sang on HOPE for TODAY T.V. / Radio Broadcast.
CABALLERO has opened for nationally know artist such as Susie McEntrire Luchsinger, Sandra Dee Mahone, Gospel Trail, Crystal River, Scott Brown, and Mike Hammock. They have also provided opening music for speaker author and talk show host, Michael Reagan, the eldest son of President Ronald Reagan.
